Moovit: the Wikipedia of Transit

Moovit is powering the future of urban mobility More than 60 million users 1200 cities 75 countries 40 languages The world’s #1 transit app Learn about the community that helped get us here When we started Moovit in 2011 the transit information for my city wasn’t available. So I went out to the streets
to locate stops, map routes, and gather all the information. After I gathered all
the information, I put it into the system. This is how we were able to launch Moovit services in my city. As Moovit started to grow, we had requests coming from all over the world from people basically asking us to
bring Moovit to their cities,. And we wanted to expand the service but the amount of information we would have to collect and manage in order to expand and cover the entire planet was just too big for our team to handle alone. So we thought – what if we could instead just develop the right mapping tools and allow everybody to do for their cities what Roy did for his city? What if we could provide the local commuters with the ability to collect and organize
local transit data and then share it with everybody else using the Moovit app? That’s exactly what we did and that was the beginning of the Mooviter Community. It was incredible to see this worldwide participation of people wanting to
impact urban mobility, and at this moment we realized we were truly part of something bigger. We were a part of this global community with a shared passion, this passion to help others. And this passion transcended everything it transcended language, culture, even physical borders. People from China, Romania, Italy, Brazil – more than 140 countries around the world came together
to improve the way people travel around. And this common connection bonded them. They came together for meetups, mapathons, discussing how to improve urban mobility
locally and on a global scale, and launching new cities around the world. They share this aim to help others. And of course they’re helping themselves and their friends and family and even fellow commuters they see on a daily basis, but more than that, they’re helping people they’ve never met and probably never will meet. So of course we are truly impressed to see all the accomplishments of our Mooviter Community. And the team here works extra hard to make sure that they get to see the impact they’re making as well. You know, if anything we’re just grateful to be a part of this.

  1. Почему вы не адаптируйте свою программу с izi.travel? В этой программе есть кнопка «как добраться» Но связь есть только с Google map . Вам помешает реклама вашего качественного продукта?
