How to save money at McDonald’s during breakfast, PART TWO

okay everyone so as you saw in our
previous video first we want to thank everyone for tuning in to our YouTube
channel safe green here we went to McDonald’s and we loved their breakfast
sandwiches in the morning their egg muffin sandwiches so we found out
they’re they’re just getting way too expensive about five dollars a sandwich
it’s crazy it’s ridiculous so we wanted to make this video because I know
there’s got to be a used-to-be meet a lot of people that on their way to work
every morning drop by drive by McDonald’s get their
breakfast sandwich and end up paying five dollars so what we did is we went
to the local supermarkets in the area and bought the items needed to make the
sandwich and we’re going to show you a little tip on how you can make it even
better tasting than the way they do it at McDonald’s so a 16 a pack of 16
cheese slices that we purchased of American cheese comes up to $3 for the
16 being 18 18 cents per slice and that’s why you wrote that in there we
also bought a carton of eggs a box 36 eggs for $10 at Walmart that means
you’re down to 27 cents per egg basically you might find a cheaper in
your area who knows and also like you see here 10 slices of Canadian bacon 30
cents and then this here we got a pack of six of the English muffins at the
99-cent store for 16 cents per sandwich so we got six of these we paid a dollar
or 99 cents you divide that by six of them comes down to 16 cents each now
we’re going to show you exactly how we make it and the little tip that we use
to make the egg look you know round just like it fits in the sandwich so we’re
gonna do that right now okay so the next thing we’re gonna do is we’re gonna
crack an egg just like so and we’re gonna put it on this strainer and we’re
gonna leave it in there for about a minute or so and there’s a reason for
this and the reason is that the egg-white
actually has two parts of the egg white and I’ll lift it up so you can see what
I’m referring to you see all that that’s just dripping down there it’s mostly
watery and then the thickest part of the egg whites gonna stay in the strainer
which were later gonna put into our pan but what’s gonna make the egg stay round
is this little guy here and this will fit right over the area of the muffin
sandwich with the Canadian bacon and the cheese and this does not burn we’ll put
it on our pan you’ll see that we just need to make sure it has enough spray
around it so it doesn’t stick so the egg doesn’t stick to it but this doesn’t
exactly sit exactly round into the pan just like so and then sometimes the the
watery part of the egg white leaks through it just what you see down there
so we’re gonna avoid that by the time we put it in here and we’re gonna do that
in the next step okay so now we’re gonna use the cooking spray I like to use the
olive oil cooking spray it’s a nonstick and we’re just going to go ahead and
spray that onto the pan just like so and then we’re gonna place this over it just
like that and let the bottom of it kind of get
some of it and then we also want to spray the size of this so do it this way
do it that way and then we’re going to let the egg just fall in there just like
so okay as you can see some of it seeped through the bottom but most of it will
stay contained in there I’ll show you once we get it frying so then what we
want to do is we want to poke the egg to let it kind of bleed out that’s the way
that the sandwich looks at McDonald’s and next we’re gonna just go ahead and
put it onto the fire okay so as you can see here we have it cooking and I’ll
show you down here at the bottom we have it just between medium and low speed or
low setting I’m sorry and that is being cooked thoroughly
there’s a point that because these guys are true a little bit higher I will
remove this and cover it up just to get it finalized and cooked a little bit
faster actually what I did is I just covered it
and the tips of that egg holder bent a little inward so it’s cooking now and it
should finish very soon I’ll show you the finished product okay so once the
egg is out of the fryer and as you notice I don’t use oil I just use
cooking spray you can either cut this off here with a spoon or a knife however
you want to do it or you can just leave it in there and we’ll place that over
the bread like I’ll show you in the next step okay so once we got it on our
muffin bread we just place the cheese over it while it’s hot and this will
allow the cheese to melt right on it if not you can later put it inside a
conventional oven or toaster oven put whatever you want after that whether it
be your Canadian bacon or if it’s your sausage whatever it is that you’d like
to place over it it’s your sandwich put whatever you want
on it top it off once we get this thing melted you will notice that it does have
a very good homemade taste because you just made it and it’s fresh I don’t know
how long McDonald’s keeps their ingredients
frozen and whatnot but you can put this in your toaster oven or little
conventional oven and have it just melt for a little while in there and if
you’re the type of person that gets up real early in the morning and just don’t
have time for breakfast to make your own breakfast you can actually make a few
these guys put them in a ziploc sandwich or a vacuum sealer if you have one those
vacuum sealers really work great in keeping stuff fresh put it in the
refrigerator the day before and we calculated all the prices the unit
prices for what it would cost one egg one cheese one Canadian bacon and the
and the muffin bread and it’s under a dollar so for what you would pay for one
sandwich which is about five bucks you can have five of these made at home so
that’s why I say buy one get four free because your
actually for five sandwiches you’re making it at the cost of one sandwich at
McDonald’s so thank you once again for tuning into our channel thank you for

coming soon on ways to save money and keep it green as far as saving money in
your household that is your money so you want to make sure you put it to work as
much as possible so thank you again once again for watching we’ll see you next
time
