How to Make a Giant Spider Web for Halloween : Separating Spider Webbing for Halloween Decorations

Hello, my name is Matt Cail on behalf of expertvillage.com,
I’m here to talk about spider web decorations. Okay, before you get started on your spider
webbing on the wall, you need to realize you don’t need the whole package to do the job,
not at first at least. I highly recommend tearing off a piece of the spider webbing
to keep it manageable and to make sure you don’t have a huge clump of spider webbing
material in your hands. I would recommend tearing off about 1/5 of the package at a
time. There are two ways to go about this; the first way is to use your fingers and then
separate out and thin the spider webbing material and keep doing this until you have a nice
piece which will come off like so. This material is already nicely pre-stretched which will
help you which will make the web hanging even easier. It’s all ready to go and you can see
how it’s going to make a great strand. The other way to go about it is you can cut, but
you need some pretty sharp scissors and actually I’ve found that the hand method is much easier
and quicker than using the scissors is.

  1. the second you opened your mouth i laughed…wrong. never cut or break the thread. roll it out, unfold it, get 3-4 people, stretch the entire thing out meticulously and evenly. Then lay it over a 20-40 sq ft area in one motion…easy. Thought this video might have shown me something i didn't know…not even going to finish it after that very first piece of "knowledge"
