Customize your courses and drive learner engagement
by adding widgets to a course homepage. This tutorial shows how to add a widget to
a course homepage. To begin, click Admin Tools…
and select Homepage Management. Click the homepage you would like to edit. Then, navigate to the Widgets panel… And, click Add Widgets. Note: The appearance of your Widgets panel
will vary based on your selected Layout. Search for, or navigate to, the widget you
want to add. In this example, select Activity Feed. Then, click Add. To remove widgets from the same panel, click
Remove Widget. To edit the properties of a widget, click
on it. Then make your selections. You can choose to hide the widget title, prevent
it from being minimized or change the title. To return to the add Widgets panel, click
Hide Properties. When you are ready, click Save and Close. When you navigate to your course homepage
using the Course Selector… The new widget displays in the edited course
