Asiana Airline’s homepage attacked by hackers posting anti-Albanian message

It appears the website of Korea’s Asiana Airlines
fell foul of a hacking attack in the early hours of Monday morning,… causing difficulties
for people trying to book tickets or check the status of their flight. The company,… which is Korea’s second biggest
airline,… says the attack started at around 4.30am and lasted around three-and-a-half
hours. Asiana officials say the personal information
of its customers was not leaked. The hackers, going under the names “Kuroi
SH and Prosox,” posted an anti-Albanian message in English. It read “the world needs to understand the
crime against humanity, carried out by Albanian pigs touching Serbia.” An official from Asiana said the attack was
not directly targeted at the company website, but the server of a firm that manages Asiana’s
homepage.
